Morgan Evans to drop new ‘Beer Back Home’ as first release under Virgin Music deal

Morgan Evans is gearing up for a major new chapter in his career, teaming up with Virgin Music Group to release fresh music that expands his global reach. The Australian-born country star will drop his first single under the partnership, ‘Beer Back Home,' on October 10, with a brand-new album slated for early 2026. Pre-save ‘Beer Back Home' here.

Evans has come a long way since his 2014 self-titled debut, amassing more than 800 million streams and earning praise from outlets like Rolling Stone, which once described him as having “the gravitational effect of a star in the sky.” His partnership with Virgin Music Group marks a deliberate step toward continuing that momentum, giving him both creative freedom and international support. “I’m stoked to partner with Virgin Music Group on this record,” Evans said. “They’ve built a global team that gets Nashville, Europe, Australia and they get me. The industry’s changing fast, but their model keeps artists in control, especially creatively. I couldn’t be prouder of this new music or more excited to share it with the world alongside the legends at VMG.”

Virgin Music Group is equally enthusiastic. Jen Bontusa, SVP of Label Management, highlighted Evans’ vision and reach: “Morgan is an artist dedicated to the continued growth of his loyal fanbase and country music around the world. The Virgin Music Group global team will play an important role in helping to expand that fanbase with an incredible collection of new music. We can’t wait to get started.”

Recorded in Nashville and co-produced by Todd Clark and Evans himself, ‘Beer Back Home' promises to set the tone for what’s ahead. With a new single, a new label partnership and an album on the horizon, Evans is ready to share a sound that reflects both where he’s been and where he’s going next.
