Viral country artist Drew Green has released the official music video for his fan-favourite track ‘Ammo,' delivering a hard-hitting visual to match one of his boldest songs yet. The release comes just weeks before his debut album, ‘What You’re Looking For,' arrives September 19 via RECORDS Nashville.
‘Ammo,' co-written with Mark Trussell (Niko Moon, Billy Currington) and Benji Davis (Chris Young), serves as a breakup anthem fuelled by barroom grit and rapid-fire lyrics. The video, directed and produced by Chase Lauer with Jimmy Naples as director of photography, brings the track’s swagger and unapologetic energy to life.
The upcoming 18-track album marks a major milestone for Green, who has already amassed more than 400 million career streams. ‘What You’re Looking For' spans his dynamic range, from the swagger of focus track ‘Lie Together' to the raw honesty of ‘Ammo,' and includes collaborations with HARDY on ‘Colorado' and 501 Bryze on ‘Back On It.'
