Rising country duo Ryan and Rory have dropped their latest single, ‘Girls Are Pretty,' now available everywhere. The free-spirited track captures small-town temptation and nostalgia, trading city neon lights for pine trees, gravel roads, and hand-me-down trucks.
The song was co-written and produced by Grammy Award winner Chris DeStefano and delivers the kind of playful, pedal-down energy perfect for Friday nights and backroad drives. With irresistible hooks and tight harmonies, Ryan and Rory continue to carve out their sound rooted in youthful adventure and hometown charm.
“‘Girls Are Pretty’ is about hometowns,” explains Ryan Follesé. “I left mine for the big city; however, once I got settled, I couldn't wait to get back home. The song celebrates the magnetic pull of hometown memories.”
Ryan and Rory have been making waves with standout tracks like ‘Together Again' featuring Jamey Johnson and ‘Them Boots,' as well as a string of high-profile tour credits. They’ve already shared the stage with artists including Sam Hunt, Jamey Johnson, Brett Young, and Tyler Braden, and they’re keeping the momentum going this fall with upcoming dates alongside John Morgan and James Barker Band.
“The crowds in Canada were incredible earlier this year, and we’ve been itching to come back,” says Rory John Zak. “We couldn’t be more stoked to hit the road with James Barker Band for round two, and then kick off the party out west with our buddy John Morgan the day after Thanksgiving.”
‘Girls Are Pretty' marks the next step in what’s shaping up to be a breakout year for Ryan and Rory, cementing their place as one of country music’s most exciting rising acts.
