Ashley McBryde has officially opened Redemption Bar, a new zero-proof venue on Broadway in Nashville. Named after her 2016 song ‘Redemption' and the word’s literal meaning, the bar was designed to be a welcoming space for anyone in search of authenticity, connection and great songwriting.
In these times of increasing health and awareness of the benefits of sobriety the opening of Redemption is one of the most exciting and important venues in Nashville's recent history – what seems like a bold and risky move is one that we think will be whole-heartedly embraced by the town and the people in and around it.
Redemption takes over the fifth floor of Eric Church’s Chief’s at 200 Broadway. Inspired by McBryde’s personal journey to sobriety, the bar features crimson walls, moody décor, and hidden nods to her life and career. Its menu offers 18 carefully crafted zero-proof cocktails, including the Flickerin’ Flames of Hell, Martini McBryde, Gospel Night, and The Devil I Know.

McBryde personally welcomed the first 200 guests during a series of soft openings this week. She christened the stage with an intimate acoustic set featuring songs like ‘Redemption,' ‘Luckiest S.O.B.,' unreleased music, and Randall Clay’s ‘Emptying Ashtrays.'
“I had a bunch of friends in last night and some of them have been watching me play music since I was 19 years old in Memphis,” McBryde shared. “I played in bars that I wouldn’t let you walk into now; places where your feet stick to the floor and there aren’t stalls in the bathroom. And then they got to walk into this place.”
Redemption will host performances from Nashville talent throughout its opening week, with artists including Caylee Hammack, Harper O’Neill, Makayla Lynn, Peytan Porter, Terri Jo Box, Jason Nix, Wes Dorethy, Blue Foley, and Cecilia Castleman set to take the stage.

In addition, McBryde has announced her sold-out Redemption Residency at Chief’s Neon Steeple. The four-show run will offer unique themes, setlists, and surprises across each night, with fans encouraged to expect one-of-a-kind moments that reflect McBryde’s creative spirit.
The Redemption Residency Dates:
