Global country breakout Josh Ross has released his brand-new single ‘My Side Of Town' through MCA Nashville, Mercury Nashville, Universal Music Canada, and CORE Records. The song, which Ross first teased on social media, has quickly become one of the most anticipated releases of his career.
“‘My Side Of Town’ was pitched to me and immediately resonated,” Ross explained. “Small towns talk, and a lot of times, only one side of a two-sided story gets heard. This song is for anyone who’s lived that—myself included.” Written by Jimmy Robbins, Seth Ennis, Josh Miller, and Abram Dean, the track captures the weight of rumours and how they can shape lives in close-knit communities.
The release sets the stage for Ross’s highly anticipated debut full-length album ‘Later Tonight' due September 19. Produced by his longtime collaborator Matt Geroux, who also helmed Ross’s JUNO Award-winning EP Complicated, the 15-track record promises a bold mix of rock-inspired energy and the heartfelt country storytelling that has fuelled his rise on the international stage.
Ross is also riding high after earning six nominations at the 2025 Canadian Country Music Association Awards, tying Cameron Whitcomb as this year’s most-nominated artist. His nods include Fans' Choice Award, Male Artist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, Video of the Year, Single of the Year, and Musical Collaboration of the Year.
