Michael Wilson Hardy, known professionally as HARDY, is an American singer, songwriter, and producer who has significantly impacted the country and rock music scenes. Born on September 13, 1990, in Philadelphia, Mississippi, HARDY's musical journey began in his hometown, where he was immersed in the rich musical traditions of the South. His early exposure to Southern culture and music heavily influenced his distinctive blend of country storytelling and rock energy. After moving to Nashville in the early 2010s, HARDY initially made his mark as a songwriter, penning hits for artists like Blake Shelton (“God's Country”) and Morgan Wallen (“Up Down”)
Transitioning from songwriting to performing, HARDY released his debut single ‘Rednecker' in 2019, showcasing his unique fusion of country and rock elements. His subsequent albums, including ‘A Rock' and ‘the mockingbird & THE CROW' further established his reputation for blending genres and pushing musical boundaries. Known for his energetic performances and authentic lyrics, HARDY has cultivated a dedicated fanbase. Last night he embarked on the Jim Bob World Tour in California promoting his latest album ‘Quit!!' and EP ‘COUNTRY!' delivering an electrifying performance.
