We’re so excited about Trisha Yearwood’s new album ‘The Mirror’

Trisha Yearwood is stepping fully into the spotlight with ‘The Mirror,' her first album to feature her complete involvement as a vocalist, producer, and songwriter. The Grammy-winning Grand Ole Opry member will release the highly anticipated project on July 18, 2025, through Virgin Music Group in partnership with her label, Gwendolyn Records. Pre-order here.

The new deal marks a homecoming for Yearwood, bringing her back under the distribution umbrella of MCA Nashville, where she originally released her iconic music from 1990 to 2006. “I’m honored to join forces with Virgin Music Group as I embark on this exciting new chapter,” said Yearwood in a statement. “Bringing my Gwendolyn label into the MCA/Universal family truly feels like coming home. I can’t wait to share my new album, ‘The Mirror.' Creating this music has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.”

Two new tracks from the album, ‘The Wall Or The Way Over' and ‘Bringing The Angels,' are out now. The full album will be available in digital, CD, standard vinyl, and limited-edition custom colour vinyl formats. Fans can preorder now at the link at the top of this article.

Yearwood, who was recently inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, gave an early preview of ‘The Mirror' during a performance at Nashville’s Bluebird Café earlier this year. In an interview with The Tennessean, she spoke about her evolving creative journey. “Being old enough where I don't feel any pressure to be anything other than who I am is such a wonderful feeling,” she said. “Being able to focus on songwriting developed into a new passion and priority that fits into my life.”

The album features collaborations with a wide range of songwriters, including Leslie Satcher, Bridgette Tatum, Sunny Sweeney, Erin Enderlin, Makayla Lynn, Melissa Fuller, Brett Boyett, and Jim “Moose” Brown. Yearwood credits her writing partners with encouraging her to speak from the heart and trust her voice as a songwriter.

One of the album’s standout tracks, ‘Put It In A Song,' co-written by Brown and Enderlin, was performed by Yearwood at the 2024 CMT Music Awards, where she received the June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award. ‘The Mirror' promises to be a powerful and personal milestone in her celebrated career.
