Bailey Zimmerman has released his much-anticipated new single ‘Backup Plan,' a powerhouse duet featuring country superstar Luke Combs. Out now via Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville, the track showcases Zimmerman’s signature grit paired with Combs’ unmistakable vocals, delivering a high-energy anthem perfect for summer.
Written by Tucker Beathard, Jimi Bell, and Jon Sherwood, the song made its surprise debut during Combs’ headlining set at Stagecoach, when Zimmerman joined him onstage for a memorable live performance.
‘Backup Plan' follows the massive success of Zimmerman’s April release ‘All The Way' featuring BigXthaPlug. That track debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking BigXthaPlug’s first entry into the top 10 and Zimmerman’s second. The single also topped Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and landed at No. 3 on the Hot Rap Songs chart, further cementing Zimmerman’s cross-genre appeal.
Looking ahead, Zimmerman is gearing up for his Summer 2025 New To Country Tour, which will kick off June 6 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following his sold-out international Religiously. The Tour, Zimmerman will hit 16 major amphitheaters across the U.S., bringing his explosive live show to even more fans. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, will feature rising stars Dylan Marlowe and Drew Baldridge as supporting acts on most dates.
