Rising country trio The Castellows made a major announcement during their debut performance at Stagecoach this past weekend, unveiling plans for their upcoming seven-track EP ‘Homecoming,' set for release on May 30. The sister trio also revealed details for their first headlining run, The Homecoming Tour, which will launch this fall across the U.S.
Kicking off in Austin, Texas on September 13, the tour will hit 15 cities with additional dates expected to be announced soon. Tickets are now available for purchase.
The Castellows shared that ‘Homecoming' is a deeply personal project inspired by their life over the past year. “A lot of these songs are very personal to us and share our convictions about the world,” the band said. “We take our listeners on a bit of a journey through these songs, and our hope is that they’ll get to know us better after listening.”
The trio highlighted one line from the track ‘Freeway' that they feel encapsulates the spirit of the EP: “You don’t know what you’re feeling until you hear it in a song.”

Ahead of the full release, the group dropped a new track on April 25 titled ‘Sheltered,' a song that reflects on their upbringing being homeschooled on a farm. “Sometimes you hear people saying somewhat negative things about homeschoolers, so we thought it’d be very fitting to play on that language with ‘Sheltered,’” they said. “We really love that we were homeschooled, and we really see the value in how we grew up. Being homeschooled is kind of the reason why we are the way we are today, and we thought it deserved a song.”
With heartfelt lyrics and a fresh take on neo-traditional country, ‘Homecoming' and the upcoming tour mark an exciting new chapter for The Castellows.
