Northern Irish artist Gareth is making waves across the globe in 2025, marking a breakout year filled with milestones, viral moments, and growing acclaim. After signing a publishing deal with BMG and releasing a series of singles through Walk Off Entertainment, Gareth continues to captivate fans with his latest project, the EP ‘Steal Your Thunder' and a string of performances across North America and the UK.
Fresh off his appearance at C2C London, Gareth has built serious momentum. His set included performances at Countryline, The Wayside, and the BBC Radio 2 Indigo Stages, plus an exclusive Apple event. He also made appearances on Absolute Country, Smooth Country, and BBC Radio 1 with Jodi Bryant. One of the most heartfelt moments came during a BBC Radio 2 performance, when he brought his mother onstage to dedicate ‘Quiet in This House,' a song he wrote for her.
Gareth described ‘Steal Your Thunder' as his introduction to the world. “These songs are written and recorded with some of my best friends in both London and Nashville,” he shared. “It shares stories of my life, my family, and my recent move across the world. I am thankful for all the support and feel incredibly lucky to do this as a career. I hope you can connect with these songs and learn a little bit more about me as a person.”
Originally from Castlederg, Northern Ireland, Gareth has gained recognition for blending his Irish storytelling roots with a passion for country music. His big break came in 2024 with a viral cover of Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season,” which racked up over 25 million views and 15 million streams. The success of that moment led to the release of ‘Covers (From Across the Pond)' and his debut original EP ‘Changing Seasons,' earning him airplay on SiriusXM’s The Highway and Absolute Country Radio.
He’s also opened for artists like Brett Young and The 502s and continues to build a dedicated global fanbase. With millions of views across social media and a performance video for Steal Your Thunder' turning heads online, Gareth’s unique blend of heart, heritage, and honesty is resonating widely.
To celebrate, Gareth is heading back to his roots with a surprise hometown pub show this weekend. He’ll also kick off a headlining UK tour this April, followed by a European run alongside Kip Moore.
