Nashville-based rising artist Max McNown has released his latest single, ‘St. Helens Alpenglow,' along with an emotive live performance video. The track, out now via Fugitive Recordings in partnership with The Orchard and Columbia Records, continues to showcase McNown’s heartfelt songwriting and his growing momentum as one of 2025’s most promising new voices in music.
‘St. Helens Alpenglow' offers a reflective take on past relationships and the lingering beauty left behind.
“For better or for worse, every relationship we’ve ever experienced has shaped us into the person we are today,” McNown shares. “The song serves as a reminder that just because a past love didn’t make it to the finish line, it doesn’t mean it was all for nothing. There are pieces of one another that we carry far beyond the ‘end’ of our romances. The ‘Alpenglow’ represents those fragments of broken relationships, memories you look back on fondly and will always be grateful for.”
The release follows last month’s single ‘Call Me If You Miss Me' and continues the narrative of McNown’s sophomore album ‘Night Diving,' a captivating blend of folk and pop produced by Jamie Kenney, known for his work with Colbie Caillat and Laci Kaye Booth.
McNown recently made a strong international debut at the C2C: Country to Country Festival, performing in London, Berlin, and Rotterdam. He will return to Europe later this year for a headlining tour across the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, and France.
