Zach Top has released a new live video for his current single ‘I Never Lie,' capturing his sold-out, two-night headlining debut at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium earlier this year. The performance, praised by Billboard for its “top-shelf vocals, ace guitar picking, energetic performances, and a devotion to old-school country music,” showcases why Top is quickly becoming one of country music’s brightest rising stars.
In the midst of a breakout year, Top is nominated for two ACM Awards: Album of the Year for ‘Cold Beer & Country Music' and New Male Artist of the Year—his first nominations at the prestigious awards show. Meanwhile, ‘I Never Lie' continues to climb the charts, currently sitting in the top 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. His rapid ascent has also earned him a nomination for New Artist of the Year at the 58th Annual CMA Awards and Discovery Artist of the Year at the 2024 MusicRow Awards.
Adding to his momentum, Top recently released the ‘Me & Billy' EP, a three-song collaboration with two-time Grammy-winning artist Billy Strings.
Named one of the “hottest acts right now” by Rolling Stone, Top is currently on his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour, which sold out just hours after tickets went on sale. The tour includes stops at major venues such as New York’s Terminal 5, Philadelphia’s The Fillmore, and Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway. Additionally, he is supporting Alan Jackson on select dates of the Last Call Tour this spring and will join Dierks Bentley’s Broken Branches Tour starting in May.
Top’s debut album, ‘Cold Beer & Country Music,' has been a breakthrough success, earning over 3.5 million streams in its first week. Produced by Carson Chamberlain (Billy Currington, Easton Corbin), the album has received critical acclaim, with The Tennessean calling it full of “star-making tunes” and Country Central describing it as “a masterclass in traditional country music.”
Raised in Sunnyside, Washington, Top’s love for classic country music began on his family’s farm. He started performing at just seven years old in a band with his siblings, later refining his skills in bluegrass groups before moving to Nashville in 2021. Since then, he has steadily built a reputation as one of country music’s most exciting new voices.
