Maryland-based country duo Blank Page is making waves with their debut EP, Because of You, a six-track collection that showcases their impressive versatility. High schoolers Jack Robert (17) and Avery Grace (18) blend traditional country, bluegrass, heartfelt Americana, and roots gospel into a sound that feels both fresh and timeless.
From the foot-stomping energy of ‘Learn Something ‘Bout You' to the tender emotion of ‘Flower' and the soulful depth of ‘Peace,' their music offers something for every listener. Their harmonies, seemingly destined to be sung together, pair seamlessly with masterful instrumentation, creating a deeply immersive listening experience.
The duo’s name, Blank Page, was inspired by a lyric from The War and Treaty, while their EP title ‘Because of You' comes from their heartfelt track ‘Flower.' Recorded alongside the drummer, bassist, and guitarist for The War and Treaty, the project elevates Blank Page’s visionary songwriting with the rich textures of a full band, complemented by flourishes of steel guitar, mandolin, and banjo.
Beyond the studio, Jack and Avery have already built an impressive resume, appearing on podcasts, local TV stations, country radio interviews, and magazine features. They’ve opened for major country stars and even headlined their first sold-out show. Their journey is just beginning, as they prepare to move to Tennessee in the fall to pursue their musical dreams.
With their undeniable chemistry and heartfelt storytelling, Blank Page has caught the attention of industry veterans, including two-time GRAMMY-nominated duo The War and Treaty, who praised them, saying, “Tears in our eyes, y’all are so beautiful. You guys are so incredibly special!!!”
As they continue to make their mark, Blank Page is proving that they’re not just another country act—they’re a duo with a story to tell and a future as bright as their harmonies.
