Coco Jones debuts new single ‘Taste’ and announces debut album

Coco Jones has released her new single ‘Taste' and confirmed the release of debut album ‘Why Not More?' on 25th April 2025.

Released via High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings, the album features the previously released singles ‘Most Beautiful Design', ‘Sweep It Up' and ‘Here We Go (Uh-Oh)'. The new single ‘Taste' is out now and you can watch the video below:

‘Taste' is produced by Stargate (Beyoncé, Rihanna) and Jasper Harris (Post Malone, Jack Harlow). It samples Britney Spears' iconic hit ‘Toxic' and turns it into an instant R&B classic with Jones' vocals. The track is about infatuation and attraction, and gives fans a bite of what else is in store for 2025.

The song ushers in a new era of empowerment and connection for Jones as she gears up for ‘Why Not More?'. The video is directed by Ava Rikki and showcases Jones' sexy confidence.

Jones has already proven to be an R&B powerhouse, receiving seven Grammy Nominations before ever putting out a full album. Last year alone with 5 GRAMMY nominations including Best New Artist, she took home her first win for ‘ICU' for R&B Performance of the Year.  She was also nominated for her first ever MTV VMA Award for MTV Push Performance of the Year for the track. Most recently she added two more GRAMMY Award nominations at this year’s awards for R&B Performance of the Year and Best R&B Song for ‘Here We Go (Uh Oh)'.
