Mumford & Sons announce intimate tour ahead of new album ‘Rushmere’

Mumford & Sons are set to make their highly anticipated return to the stage next month with a series of intimate live performances spanning Europe, the UK, Australia, and North America. This marks the band's first UK and European headline tour since 2018, bringing them back to their roots with small club shows and exclusive venues.

The tour announcement follows the recent news of their upcoming album ‘Rushmere,' their first in seven years, set for release on March 28 via Island Records. Fans have already gotten a taste of what’s to come with the album’s title track, which is now available to stream.

A Global Journey in Exclusive Settings

Kicking off in March, Mumford & Sons will begin their tour in Amsterdam, Paris, and Berlin before heading to London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on March 11. The band will then make a special stop at the iconic Sydney Opera House before concluding their run with four select North American shows.

How to Get Tickets

Members of Agora, the band’s official fan community, will have priority access to tickets starting Thursday, February 13. A limited number of remaining tickets will then be available through general on-sale beginning Friday, February 14 at 10 AM local time.

To ensure fairness, fans must register their interest via Agora before Monday, February 10 at 11:59 PM (GMT). Each registrant can only enter for one event, and not all entries will be selected. Access codes will be provided to chosen fans on Wednesday, February 12 at 6 PM (local time). Receiving a code does not guarantee ticket purchase, and a maximum of two tickets per order applies.

Supporting War Child

Mumford & Sons have partnered with PLUS1 to support War Child, with £1 from every ticket sold going toward protecting, educating, and advocating for children affected by war. Learn more at warchild.org.uk.

Special Appearance at SNL: The Homecoming Concert

Ahead of the tour, the band will take part in SNL: The Homecoming Concert at Radio City Hall in New York, celebrating 50 years of Saturday Night Live. The event, featuring artists like David Byrne, Jack White, Chris Martin, and Lady Gaga, will be streamed live via Peacock for U.S. viewers on February 14.

Rushmere: A Return to Their Roots

The album ‘Rushmere' holds deep significance for Mumford & Sons. Named after the pond on Wimbledon Common where Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane first conceived the idea of forming the band, the album reflects their creative evolution.

Produced by nine-time Grammy winner Dave Cobb, the album was recorded across Nashville’s RCA Studio A, Savannah, Georgia, and Marcus Mumford’s studio in Devon, UK.

With Rushmere marking a new chapter for Mumford & Sons, these exclusive live dates offer fans a rare chance to experience the band in an intimate setting before their grand return to the global stage.
