Legendary heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath have officially announced their long-awaited reunion, set to take place on July 5th, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham. The historic event, aptly titled Back to the Beginning, will mark the first time in 20 years that the original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—will share the stage together.
The announcement was made earlier today at the home of Aston Villa, with Sharon Osbourne and Tony Iommi confirming the highly anticipated return. In a heartfelt statement, Ozzy Osbourne reflected on the significance of the event:
“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning… time for me to give back to the place where I was born. How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
