Ryan Hurd announces new acoustic London show

Singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd took to Instagram today to announce he will be playing a one-off acoustic show at The Lower Third in London on the 10th February. Tickets available here.

This follows hot on the heels of Hurd signing with Big Machine at the end of last year and releasing the very funky ‘This Party Sucks.' Co-written by Hurd, Brinley Addington, Ryan Beaver, and David Garcia, the song was inspired by Hurd’s experience of having to leave a rare conversation with Paul McCartney to attend a party filled with empty small talk. The track taps into the frustration of social gatherings that feel less than authentic, set to an irresistible, rock-tinged melody that captures Hurd’s sharp, relatable lyrics.

Released just days after Hurd’s label signing announcement, ‘This Party Sucks' follows his independently released tracks ‘Midwest Rock & Roll' and ‘Go To Bed Sober,' with a full-length album expected from Big Machine Records in 2025. It will be great to have Hurd back in the UK again, a place where he is well-known and well-liked after coming over a number of times in the early stages of his career.
