A New Era of Hard Rock
McAuley describes ‘Soulbound' as a significant departure from his previous solo efforts, offering a more aggressive and riff-heavy approach. “I can't wait to share Record #3 with you all from Frontiers Music Srl,” McAuley says. ‘Soulbound' is a much edgier, harder guitar-driven record than my previous two for the label. In addition, I'm working with a new producer from the Frontiers label, Aldo Lonobile, who brought these songs to life with his kick-ass production. PLAY IT LOUD! I think you're gonna love it!”
The First Taste: “‘Til I Die”
To celebrate the announcement, McAuley has unveiled the album’s first single, “‘Til I Die,' accompanied by a cinematic music video. The track opens with heavy drums and biting guitar riffs, setting the tone for the album’s energetic and hard-hitting vibe. The video, directed by Enzo Mazzeo and Eric Boadello, features McAuley racing across a haunting Western wasteland, battling demons both literal and figurative.
“We had so much fun shooting this mini-movie,” McAuley shares. “‘Til I Die' comes at you right out the gate with heavy drums and biting guitars as I race across the Western wasteland to escape the unknown demons and images haunting me. It's a race for survival at all costs. Come join me and escape together!”

A Creative Renaissance
Robin McAuley’s career has seen a resurgence in recent years, with appearances on Michael Schenker Fest albums and tours, as well as fronting the hard rock supergroup Black Swan. Feeling creatively invigorated, McAuley began work on ‘Soulbound' in early 2024, crafting an album that showcases his vocal prowess and a reinvigorated passion for hard rock.
The album features a mix of returning collaborators and new talent, including guitarist Andrea Seveso, guitarist Alessandro Mammola, and drummer Alfonso Mocerino. Under the expert production of Aldo Lonobile, ‘Soulbound' pushes McAuley’s music into heavier, more dynamic territory while maintaining his signature melodic touch.
