as1one, the first Israeli-Palestinian pop group, has released new single ‘Stranger' via Thirty Tigers.
The song is produced by Jason Evigan (Benson Boone) and it's the follow-up to the band's debut release ‘All Eyes On Us'. Both tracks are taken from as1one's self-titled debut EP which will be released on 2nd December 2024.
The music video for ‘Stranger', titled ‘Stranger (Sunset Sound Performance)', made its debut on MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Biggest Pop and MTV's global network of channels, as well as on the Paramount billboards in Times Square, New York City.
“We are so excited to be releasing this new single, ‘Stranger’”, shared as1one. “With everything going on back home, we found a dual meaning in the song. It represents the feeling of coming back to something or someone that was once familiar to you – like a hometown or a loved one – and hoping the familiarity is not lost but instead remains.”
as1one is the focus of a new Paramount+ documentary series – ‘as1one: The Israeli-Palestinian Pop Music Journey' – which debuts on the platform on 3rd December 2024. The four-part docuseries chronicles the group’s formation, creative process, and brotherhood over a five-year period of becoming as1one, the next global pop group.
It is produced by The As1One Production Company, James Diener, Ken Levitan, and Ami Nir alongside Bruce Gillmer in association with Best Production Company for MTV Entertainment Studios.
as1one was formed in 2022 – Aseel Farah, Nadav Philips, Neta Rozenblat, Niv Lin, Ohad Attia, and Sadik Abu Dogosh – following an extensive nationwide effort led by veteran industry hitmakers and music entrepreneurs James Diener and Ken Levitan, who respectively signed and developed Maroon 5 and Kings Of Leon.
