Koe Wetzel has officially wrapped the U.S. leg of his wildly successful Damn Near Normal World Tour, spanning 28 sold-out dates across the country. The tour concluded with an electrifying performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre this past weekend, where fans were treated to the rarely-performed live track ‘Honey Pain.' Praised by The Tennessean for its “mix of reckless abandon and a veteran artist’s knowledge of how to move a crowd,” Wetzel's live show has become known for delivering an unforgettable experience full of energy, emotion, and fan connection.
Before closing out the U.S. tour, Wetzel was presented with three RIAA certifications—Platinum for his current single ‘High Road' and Gold for his hits ‘Sweet Dreams' and ‘Creeps.' Reflecting on the milestone, Wetzel shared his gratitude: “Every year that we’re out on the road seeing the fans singing every word of these songs, I think to myself that it can’t possibly get bigger or better – and then the next tour rolls around and it does. Red Rocks is up there with some of my favorite shows we’ve ever played, and I’m so grateful to the people who show up every night. We can’t wait to keep this thing rolling across the pond… hope you’re ready for some rowdy Texas boys headed your way!”
Wetzel’s debut single at country radio, ‘High Road' featuring Jessie Murph, continues to soar, climbing to No. 16 in just 14 weeks and also making waves at Top 40 and Hot AC. This momentum follows the release of Wetzel’s critically acclaimed fifth studio album ‘9 Lives' which debuted at No. 15 on the all-genre Billboard 200 and No. 5 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The album has already amassed over 500 million global audio and video streams, cementing Wetzel’s place as a rising force in the country and rock scenes.
In addition to the success of ‘9 Lives' Wetzel recently dropped the fan-favourite track ‘Casamigos' alongside a music video, and he’s been teasing even more new music as he prepares to take his tour overseas for a string of shows through November.
As the holidays approach, Wetzel is bringing the festive spirit back to Texas with two special Wetzel’s Wonderland Live shows in Austin on December 27 and Fort Worth on December 28. Fans can expect a high-energy celebration to close out the year.
