Celine Dion has released her live performance of ‘Hymne à l'amour' (Live from the Olympic Games Paris 2024).
The performance, which took place on 26th July 2024, was Dion's return to performing following her Stiff Person Syndrome diagnosis. Dion stepped out onto the balcony of the Eiffel Tower as the surprise final performer of the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony in Paris, with her emotional tribute to Edith Piaf’s masterpiece.
Dion's live version is released to commemorate the 61st anniversary of Piaf's passing. The release of the song is the next stage in Dion's return to the spotlight.
The superstar recently released her Prime Video documentary ‘I Am: Celine Dion‘, which took viewers inside her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome. It offered an unflinching look at the impact the condition has had on Dion's life and her ability to perform.
