Brian Kelley has given fans another taster from his upcoming album ‘Ed & Mary Margaret's Son', out 25th October 2024, with the release of ‘If I Go First'.
The deeply personal song is a message from Kelley to his wife Brittney, to whom he's been married to for over 10 years. The song was penned solely by Kelley and you can listen to it below:
‘If I Go First' is produced by Katlin Owen and Caleb Gilbreath, and it's an emotive ballad that is sure to be a highlight on Kelley's upcoming record. The song follows on from the release of ‘Hold On, Cowboy' and ‘Put Myself On'.
‘Ed & Mary Margaret's Son' is the follow-up to 2024's ‘Tennessee Truth' album, which was Kelley's first for Big Machine Records. Earlier this year, Kelley was in the UK where he performed on the Main Stage at C2C and as part of Big Machine's pre-C2C showcase.
Prior to making his mark as a solo artist, Kelley was best-known as one half of the hugely successful duo Florida Georgia Line. The duo disbanded in 2022 so they could pursue their own solo projects.
