Aer Lingus announces first-ever direct flights from Dublin to Nashville

Aer Lingus has announced Ireland’s first direct flight route connecting Dublin to Nashville, set to launch in April 2025. This exciting new service will operate four times a week using Aer Lingus' cutting-edge Airbus A321XLR aircraft, providing a direct link between Ireland and the vibrant city of Nashville.

The introduction of this route not only opens the door for Irish travelers to experience Nashville's renowned culture and music scene but also strengthens economic ties between Ireland, Nashville, and the broader state of Tennessee. The new direct connection will support business travel across industries such as fashion, finance, healthcare, and automotive—key sectors in both regions.

“We are thrilled to add Nashville to our expanding North American network,” said Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus’ Chief Customer Officer. “The connection between Irish and American country music runs deep, and Nashville’s iconic status as the capital of country music makes it a dream destination for music lovers. Its fast-growing industries also provide exciting opportunities for business travelers.”

Doug Kreulen, President and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA), echoed the sentiment: “A new chapter in travel history begins today as Music City and the Emerald Isle are linked by a nonstop flight through our exciting new partnership with Aer Lingus. This nonstop flight will offer travelers the chance to explore Ireland’s stunning landscapes and Dublin’s rich history while immersing themselves in Nashville’s legendary music scene.”

One major advantage of this new route is Dublin Airport’s US Pre-Clearance facility, allowing passengers to complete all US immigration and customs checks before departure. Once cleared, travelers are considered to be on US soil, making their arrival in Nashville smooth and hassle-free.

With this new service, Aer Lingus continues to expand its transatlantic offerings, enhancing both leisure and business travel options for its customers.
