George Birge drops fan-favourite new song ‘Missin’ Tonight’

RECORDS Nashville artist and rising country star George Birge has just released his highly anticipated track ‘Missin’ Tonight' following an overwhelming response from fans on social media. The track, available now on all streaming platforms, has already created significant buzz, drawing attention with its infectious, off-the-map anthem vibe.

Co-written by Birge alongside Daniel Ross and Taylor Phillips ‘Missin’ Tonight' is a song all about leaving the world behind and disappearing into love. Produced by Ross, the track features a sultry blend of distorted guitars, powerful drums, and Birge’s smooth vocals, perfectly capturing the energy and excitement Birge felt after one of his biggest shows of the year. The release also includes a music video directed by Corey Miller, which brings the hot-and-heavy tone of the track to life.

“We wrote this song on the bus after one of the biggest shows of the year,” Birge shared. “We wanted to capture the energy we got from the crowd that night into a song and wrote ‘Missin’ Tonight.’”

This new release follows the continued success of Birge’s current single, ‘Cowboy Songs,' which has climbed into the Top 15 at Country radio. His debut single, ‘Mind On You,' kicked off 2024 by hitting #1, establishing Birge as a rising force in the country music scene. ‘Cowboy Songs' is the title track from Birge’s Cowboy Songs EP, which features seven songs co-written by Birge, including collaborations with top-tier songwriters like Jon Nite, Paul DiGiovanni, and Rodney Clawson. The EP is one of our favourites of the year and we were thrilled to catch George in Nashville during CMAFest week.

As his momentum continues to build, Birge is set to make his debut at the legendary Stagecoach Festival in 2025, taking place in Indio, California, from April 25-27. Additionally, he recently headlined Whiskey Jam Presents: The Rising Stars of Stagecoach in downtown Nashville and wrapped up supporting tours with country heavyweights Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, and Parker McCollum.

Birge’s upcoming shows include performances at the GoldenSky Festival in Sacramento on October 19 and a headlining gig at Joe’s Bar on Weed St. in Chicago on November 1.
