CMA Fest wraps up today so this is your last chance to to trawl the stages in and around Nashville and find your next musical crush or see an artist you've liked for a while now.
Whether you've been before or this is your first time, don't feel overwhelmed with the number of artists and stages. There really is something for everyone, and if you don't want to buy tickets for the stadium shows in the evenings, you can enjoy plenty of free live music around Downtown Nashville.
To help you plan your day, we've put together a list of five artists that you really should make time for today (Sunday June 9th). We've picked times that are spread apart so you can make the most of Downtown and also get yourself food and drink throughout the day.
Keep reading to see who we've picked…
Anne Wilson 10am Chevy Riverfront stage
It might be an early start for a Sunday but you will not regret it! We recommend you get yourself down to the river to catch rising star Anne Wilson's set. Her recently released debut Country album, ‘Rebel' is jam-packed with rousing rockers and sentimental ballads with a dose of Christian worship running through it too.
Sister Hazel 11am Dr Pepper Amp Stage
iconic band Sister Hazel have been producing great music for over 25 years now. We were huge fans of their album ‘Fortress' released back in 2000. I mean, ‘Champagne High', C'mon – that's quality music right there. 2010's ‘Heartland Highway' saw them moving into an Americana space. Don't this this amazing band playing a great run through of their back catalogue.
Chase McDaniel 11.45am Chevy Vibes Stage
Chase McDaniel’s journey so far has been one of many ups and downs. Hailing from Greensburg, Kentucky, Chase is considered one of Nashville’s most tenacious singer-songwriters, and having gone from jobless and down to his last $12 to now releasing his debut EP ‘Blame it All on Country Music.' We spoke to him all about it here.
Tigirlily Gold 12.30pm Chevy Vibes Stage
What an 18 months sisters Kendra and Krista have had. With their debut album, ‘Blonde' on the horizon you can almost feel the zeitgeist and the buzz around what they are doing right now. ‘I Tried a Ring On' is our absolute favourite song of 2024 so far and if it doesn't reach snumber one in in the next few months there will be no justice in the world. Read our latest interview with them right here.
Tyler Farr 3.30pm at Dr Pepper Stage
Since Tyler has never been to the UK so the only time we've got to see him live was at CMAFest in 2022 and he didn't disappoint! Here's another chance to see classics like ‘Redneck Crazy' and ‘A Guy Walks into a Bar' live and in a fairly intimate and accessible atmosphere.
