Country Music Hall of Famer Randy Travis is set to bring his ‘More Life Tour' to the legendary Ryman Auditorium on June 5, offering an exciting unofficial start to CMA Fest. This special event features Travis' original touring band and guest vocalist James Dupré, promising an unforgettable journey through Travis' chart-topping hits, enhanced by video highlights from his remarkable career in music, film, and television.
While Randy Travis won't be performing vocally due to his 2013 stroke, which left him with aphasia, he and his wife Mary will be present on stage throughout the show to interact with fans and the band. Dupré and the band will perform all 16 of Travis' iconic number ones, including ‘On The Other Hand,' ‘Forever and Ever, Amen' and ‘Three Wooden Crosses.'
Presale tickets will be available starting May 16, at 10 A.M., with public ticket sales beginning on Friday, May 17, at 10 A.M. Fans can purchase tickets here.
This announcement follows the recent release of Travis' latest single, ‘Where That Came From.' Collaborating with longtime producer Kyle Lehning and a team of talented musicians, Travis recorded his first song in over a decade. Released on May 3, the track debuted on the charts at number 45, supported by the enthusiastic reception from country radio and fans of Travis's unmistakable voice.
