A brand new trailer has debuted for ‘The Watched‘, giving a closer look at the terrifying (and traumatic) events to come in the new film.
Starring Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan and Olwen Fouere, the film is written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan. The film is based on A.M. Shine’s novel and you can watch the trailer at the top of this article.
‘The Watched’ follows Mina (Fanning), a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night. You can’t see them, but they see everything.
The film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan and Nimitt Mankad. The executive producers are Jo Homewood and Stephen Dembitzer.
Joining writer/director Shyamalan behind-the-camera are director of photography Eli Arenson (‘Lamb’), production designer Ferdia Murphy (‘Lola’), editor Job ter Burg (‘Benedetta’) and costume design by Frank Gallacher (‘Sebastian’). The music is by Abel Korzeniowski (‘The Nun’).
‘The Watched’ will be released in the UK by Warner Bros. Pictures on 14th June 2024
