The trailer has been released for upcoming horror film ‘The Watched’, from writer and director Ishana Night Shyamalan, the daughter of film-maker M. Night Shyamalan.
The film stars Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan and Olwen Fouere, and it is produced by M. Night Shyamalan. Based on the novel by A.M. Shine, ‘The Watched’ follows Mina (Fanning), a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night. You can’t see them, but they see everything.
Alongside M. Night Shyamalan, the film’s producers are Ashwin Rajan and Nimitt Mankad. The executive producers are Jo Homewood and Stephen Dembitzer.
Joining writer/director Shyamalan behind-the-camera are director of photography Eli Arenson (‘Lamb’), production designer Ferdia Murphy (‘Lola’), editor Job ter Burg (‘Benedetta’) and costume design by Frank Gallacher (‘Sebastian’). The music is by Abel Korzeniowski (‘Till’).
New Line Cinema presents ‘The Watched’, which will be released in the UK on 7th June 2024 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
