Country singer-songwriter Wade Bowen has revealed exciting news as he announced his upcoming album, ‘Flyin’ set to be released on Friday, May 10th. This 12-track record promises a diverse mix of songs, ranging from classic honky-tonk country to poignant ballads, infused with elements of classic rock and a heartfelt ode to his home state of Texas.

Produced entirely by Bowen himself, ‘Flyin’ came to life over the course of a year, offering listeners an unexpected musical journey filled with authentic storytelling and creative songwriting. Bowen expressed his enthusiasm for sharing personal narratives through his music, stating, “More than ever, people need to hear songwriters talk about their lives. We don’t always have to search for monster hits. We can just write about our lives, and maybe that might actually work. That’s what this record is a lot of – massive songs, but also a lot of me just writing authentically and honestly about my life.”
‘Flyin’ marks Bowen’s tenth studio album and signifies a new chapter in his career. He commented, “I feel like I’m flying into this chapter where I’m the best version of myself that I’ve ever been. Y’all better catch up or you’re getting left behind. I’m on fire!”
Accompanying the album announcement is the release of its first single, ‘Rainin On Me,’ along with an accompanying music video. Co-written with Randy Montana, the track is an up-tempo, Eagles-inspired tune that harks back to Bowen’s musical roots. The video vividly portrays the song’s lyrics, capturing Bowen in various scenes, from embracing sadness in the rain to reflecting in a bar and cruising down Texas roads.
