SZA has been confirmed as a headliner for American Express presents BST Hyde Park this summer.
The R&B star will headline on Saturday 29th June 2024, which is the first Saturday of BST Hyde Park’s three weekends. SZA will be joined by special guests Sampha and Snoh Aalegra, with the full supporting line-up to be announced.
SZA is one of the leading stars in contemporary R&B and rose to fame with her trio of EPs and collaborations with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. In 2017 her star rose further with the release of ‘Ctrl’, which saw her pick up five Grammy nominations. ‘SOS’, her second album, was released in 2022 and reached number 1 on the Billboard 200.
Last June, as part of her international SOS tour, SZA performed four back-to-back nights at London’s O2 Arena, as well as nights in Glasgow and Manchester.
SZA joins an eclectic line up for BST Hyde Park 2024 including previously announced headliners Kings of Leon (30th June), Andrea Bocelli (5th July), Robbie Williams (6th July), Shania Twain (7th July), Stevie Nicks (12th July), Kylie (13th July) and Stray Kids (14th July), with more artists to be revealed soon – so watch this space!
