The highly acclaimed musical ‘The Drifters Girl’ gears up for its UK and Ireland tour. It arrives at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley from April 23rd to 27th, 2024. The production’s stellar cast will led by the talented Carly Mercedes Dyer in the role of Faye Treadwell.

Dyer, an Olivier Award nominee, steps into the formidable shoes of predecessors Beverley Knight and Felicia Boswell. Acknowledging the challenge, she says, “I love a challenge, and I’m a completely different person. I’m Carly Mercedes Dyer, and I’m gonna give you my spin on it.”

Fresh off a successful run in London’s West End, where it garnered nightly standing ovations, ‘The Drifters Girl’ embarks on a nationwide tour, bringing the compelling story of the iconic vocal group and the woman behind their success to audiences across the UK and Ireland.

Carly Mercedes Dyer, known for her acclaimed performance in ‘Anything Goes,’ brings a fresh perspective to Faye’s character, describing her as “tenacious, hugely intelligent, and resilient.” The musical sheds light on Faye’s groundbreaking role as the first African-American female manager in an industry dominated by men.
