Box office smash franchise ‘A Quiet Place‘ continues with new instalment ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’, and today the teaser trailer and poster has been released.
The exciting teasers are accompanied by a very short synopsis, which reads ‘Experience the day the world went quiet’. The teaser doesn’t give away a whole lot but it does confirm that this film is a prequel to the events of the first film. Franchise fans get a glimpse of the original film before time winds back to the first day of the world falling to pieces.
The new film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou. It is based on characters by Bryan Woods & Scott Beck, with a story by John Krasinski & Michael Sarnoski and a screenplay by Michael Sarnoski, who also directs.
The executive producers are Allyson Seeger and Vicki Dee Rock, and the producers are Michael Bay, Andrew Form, p.g.a, Brad Fuller and John Krasinski.
The teaser poster for the film features star Lupita Nyong’o stood in the middle of a crowd with a hand clasped over her mouth. Around her are skyscrapers and red lettering says ‘Hear how it all began’. Take a look at the poster below:
‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ will be released in cinemas on 28th June 2024.
