Singer-songwriter Muni Long has released the cinematic video for her rising hit ‘Made For Me’.
The clip is directed by Des Gray and Trinidad James, and it features Long attempting to create the perfect man (with a little twist). Paying homage to ‘Frankenstein’ and the rising influence of A.I., the video showcases Long’s creative talents as well as her musical ones.
‘Made For Me’, released in 2023, is written by Bryan-Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, JordanXL & Muni Long, and produced by Bryan-Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri and JordanXL. The song is Long’s first new material since the 2022 release of her album ‘Public Displays of Affection: The Album’.
Last year, Long picked up a Grammy for her monster breakthrough hit ‘Hrs & Hrs’, and she released a remix of the song with Usher. As well as being an artist in her own right, Long has written for plenty of huge artists under her real name, Priscilla Renea, including Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Ariana Grande.
While there’s no word yet about a new album, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that one materialises over the course of this year.
