Cheating in games is rife and Roblox is no exception. There are always people out to try and scam others using nefarious means but the scripters took it to a whole new level. People running scripts could fundamentally change how a game would work to either give themselves a massive advantage over players or just downright cheat the game for, in some cases, financial gain.
This, my friends, is where Synapse X came in. Synapse X was a very, and I mean VERY, popular piece of software used by Roblox cheaters that would allow them to run the sort of scripts mentioned above easily, they had links to script marketplaces and a thriving discord community and more. It therefore comes as a massive surprise that a team of developers who dedicated themselves to helping people cheat at Roblox have ended up working alongside them.

This was received with smiles and surprise from the Roblox dev community but I’m not sure this is the best move for players. You see, whilst scripts could and did fundamentally break games, they also added features players could use to remove most of the repetition from games. Many games on the platform are based on carrying out simple tasks over and over for thousands of times and you’d be right in thinking this can get boring real quick. I actually tried out a few scripts and they often made games so much more fun to play. My concern with the Synapse X move is it potentially gives Roblox devs ( the lazy ones )even more scope to make their games boring and repetitive.
As for Synapse what are they doing with Roblox? A post from a Roblox Staff member states:

I’m not naive enough to think that cheating will stop overnight but it is nice to know that the people who were once the best in the game at exploiting it are now working for the other side.
