There haven’t been too many shocks on this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ this year but Layton Williams ending up in the bottom two last week was one.
As we’re getting towards the end of the competition, perhaps viewers don’t want someone with as much dancing experience as Layton has to win? The same happens every year with viewers choosing to support those celebs that have no dance training prior to joining the show.
Ultimately last week Layton was saved by the judges and it was Angela Scanlon that went home. This weekend sees the competition reach the quarter-final stage and the five couples will dance again to secure their place in the semi-final.

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ continues this Saturday at 7:25pm on BBC One. Another couple will leave the competition, and miss out on a place in the semi-final, during Sunday night’s results show.
