Lulu is celebrating her milestone 75th birthday by announcing that she’s heading out on tour in 2024 for her ‘Champagne for Lulu’ tour.
The run will see the legend play five spectacular live dates in April, kicking-off in her hometown of Glasgow, and touring through Manchester, Southampton, Birmingham; culminating at The London Palladium.
’75 – I can’t believe it!’, smiles Lulu, ‘ And 60 years in the business! What an amazing journey it’s been, so many memories – wow. That’s why I’m going to make sure that my upcoming shows are a momentous celebration. And I promise to whip up one hell of a party, all the hits, my personal stories from behind the scenes, and of course I’ll be inviting some special guests onto the stage with me. Join me, it’s gonna be the party of a lifetime.”
‘Champagne for Lulu’ will be a massive celebration with guest performances and Lulu as you’ve never seen her. She goes beyond the bubbles, delivering the performance of a lifetime.
Lulu had her breakthrough in 1964 with her iconic hit ‘Shout’, when she was only 15 years old. Since then she has been a mainstay in music and on our TV screens. She has won the Eurovision Song Contest, sung a Bond theme and she one of the first-ever pop artists to perform behind the Iron Curtain in Poland.
