‘Love Actually’ is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the release of a limited edition, double coloured vinyl pressing of its iconic soundtrack.
Released on 17th November 2023, the double-LP set in red and clear vinyl features an eclectic mix of up-tempo pop hits, romantic ballads and Christmas classics from artists including Girls Aloud, Norah Jones, Texas, Joni Mitchell, Otis Redding, The Beach Boys, Gabrielle and more, alongside three tracks from composer Craig Armstrong’s film score.
The artwork features images of some of the film’s most memorable characters and scenes, as well as sleeve notes from the movie’s writer and director Richard Curtis. The original soundtrack release reached number one on the Official UK Albums Chart and to date is certified 2x Platinum. You can pre-order the vinyl now.
‘Love Actually’ was released in 2023 during the festive season. Written and directed by Richard Curtis, the film has gone on to a be a Christmas classic. It features an all-star cast including Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Keira Knightly, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, Laura Linney, Martin Freeman, Andrew Lincoln, Gregor Fisher, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Rodrigo Santoro, Lúcia Moniz, Martine McCutcheon, Rowan Atkinson, Billy Bob Thornton and Alan Rickman.
As well as the soundtrack, a 4K restoration of ‘Love Actually’ will be released theatrically and on home entertainment in the UK on 24th November via Universal Pictures and STUDIOCANAL.
The home entertainment re-release of the 4K Anniversary Restoration of ‘Love Actually’ will be supported by an all-new 30-minute featurette, filmed in London, of the all-star cast and filmmakers reminiscing about their favourite memories of the making of the film and reflecting on the impact and legacy of ‘Love Actually’, now two decades later. The theatrical re-release will include a new 10-minute introduction highlighting the film’s most iconic moments.
