‘Ted Lasso’ season 3 to premiere on Apple TV+ in March

The wait is very nearly over as Apple TV+ has confirmed that ‘Ted Lasso’ will launch season 3 on 15th March 2023.

Fans have been desperate to find out when the show would be returning after following the conclusion of season 2 on 8th October 2021. A new teaser has been released for the show, which sees Ted (Jason Sudeikis), Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt), Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham), Roy (Brett Goldstein), Keeley (Juno Temple), Jamie (Phil Dunster), Leslie (Jeremy Swift), Sam (Toheeb Jimoh), Isaac (Kola Bokinni) and Dani (Cristo FernĆ”ndez) in the Richmond F.C. locker room making some ‘Believe’ signs.

Notably absent is Nate (Nick Mohammed) who betrayed Ted and the team at the end of season 2 after getting too big for his boots.

In this third season of ‘Ted Lasso’, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the ā€œwonder kid,ā€ has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United.

In the wake of Nateā€™s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard. Meanwhile, while Ted deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.

Watch the teaser at the top of this article and get the countdown on for the show’s return!
