Gerard Butler will be crashing back onto the big screen with ‘Plane’ on 27th January 2023.
With just a couple of weeks to go, Lionsgate UK has released three clips from the film to whet your appetite. As you can see from the clips below, it’s set to be an adrenaline-fuelled romp that’ll deliver plenty of action.
In the white-knuckle action movie pilot Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler) saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island – only to find that surviving the landing was just the beginning.
When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI. In order to rescue the passengers, Torrance will need Gaspare’s help, and will learn there’s more to Gaspare than meets the eye.
Alongside Butler, the action flick also stars Mike Colter (‘Luke Cage’), Yoson An (‘Mulan’), Daniella Pineda (‘Jurassic World’ franchise), Paul Ben-Victor (‘The Wire’), Remi Adeleke, Joey Slotnick (‘Twister’), Evan Dane Taylor, Claro de los Reyes and Tony Goldwyn (‘Scandal’).
French director Jean-François Richet helms the nerve-shredder from a screenplay by Charles Cumming and J.P. Davis.
Already out in the US, the film has been picking up positive reviews and thrilling audiences. It seems it really might be the perfect film to get through the January blues and this miserable English weather!
