Steps will release a new version of their track ‘Heartbreak In This City’ featuring ‘Drag Race’ star Michelle Visage.
The single will be the fourth to be taken from the pop icons’ latest album ‘What The Future Holds’ and it will be released on Thursday 25th February 2021 at 8am. The track will premiere the same day at 7.50am with a first play by Alan Carr, who sits in for Zoe Ball on her Radio 2 Breakfast show next week.

A clear fan favourite since the release of ‘What The Future Holds’, ‘Heartbreak In This City’ reunites Steps with songwriter Karl Twigg, who wrote the band’s hits ‘One For Sorrow’, ‘Deeper Shade Of Blue’ and ‘Stomp’.

Discussing how the collaboration came about Lee Latchford-Evans says:Ā āThe idea for this collaboration came about when we did an Instagram Live with Michelle on album release week.āĀ

‘What The Future Holds’Ā went Silver within the first month of its release and was the most downloaded album in the UK over the Christmas period.
Steps will also be heading out on their ‘What The Future Holds 2021 Tour’Ā in November, headlining 18 arena shows across the UK including two dates at Londonās The O2 and will be joined by the brilliant Sophie Ellis-Bextor as a special guest.
