Canadian Country music star Tebey might be a relatively new name here in the UK but he’s long been a successful songwriter before stepping into the artist spotlight himself.
With a surprisingly versatile back catalogue, it may surprise you to learn some of the hits he’s had a hand in penning.

1. Pixie Lott – ‘All About Tonight’
British popstar Pixie Lott unleashed ‘All About Tonight’ as the lead single from her second album ‘Young Foolish Happy’ in 2011. It went straight to number one and became one of her signature hits. We’d actually forgotten just how much of a bop the song is!
2. Cher – ‘Take It Like a Man’
In 2013 Cher released studio album ‘Closer to the Truth’ and the song ‘Take It Like a Man’ became a firm fan favourite. Accompanied by a racy video featuring scantily clad male dancers, the song has been a huge hit and fans welcomed it on Cher’s tours and live performances around the record.
3. Fifth Harmony – ‘Leave My Heart Out of This’
One of the tracks on Fifth Harmony’s debut EP ‘Better Together’ in 2013, ‘Leave My Heart Out Of This’ is a sassy and uplifting pop ballad. It may not have been a single but it made an impact on Harmonizers and it remains one of their most underrated songs.
4. One Direction – ‘They Don’t Know About Us’
At the peak of their pop domination, One Direction recorded ‘They Don’t Know About Us’ for their second studio album ‘Take Me Home’. The song became a live favourite with fans and it’s epic pop production and memorable melody makes us think it was a missed opportunity as a single.
5. Justin Moore – ‘Somebody Else Will’
This 2016 chart-topper is one of Justin Moore’s biggest hits and Tebey co-wrote it with fellow Country star Adam Hambrick and Kelly Archer. Without a doubt one of Moore’s best singles, ‘Somebody Else Will’ is a true contemporary Country classic.
