British Country singer-songwriter Jade Helliwell has released her new single Put It On You today.
Co-written with fellow Country artist Jess Thristan, Put It On You is an anthem for the ladies, that turns the tables at the beginning of a relationship. Take a listen to the track:
Talking about the track Helliwell says, “Put It On You is a really fun song, that I wrote with Jess about turning the tables when it comes to making the first move in a relationship. A lot of my songs are about waiting for the guy to make a move and show they’re interested… but with this one, I’m taking the reins! It’s really playful with a production I love, influenced by my favourites (at the moment) Danielle Bradbury and Cassadee Pope. I can’t wait for everybody to hear it!”
2019 has been a big year for Helliwell, who kicked it off with a three-week tour in Australia and two performances at C2C: Country to Country in London. Her single Stormchaser has amassed almost 200,000 Spotify streams since March and Helliwell has 12.8k monthly listeners on the platform.
