Danielle Bradbery and Thomas Rhett have unveiled the music video for their new single Goodbye Summer.

A reworking of Hello Summer, which appears on Bradbery’s album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, Goodbye Summer was co-written by Rhett and his father Rhett Akins with Julian Bunetta and Jaren Johnston.

“Thomas Rhett was one of the first mentors I had in Nashville and we’ve become really good friends over the years. He’s like a big brother to me, so to be able to record a song he wrote was incredibly special,” explains Bradbery.

The video comes just days after Bradbery supported Thomas Rhett at the Eventim Apollo in London on Saturday night. Rhett surprised Bradbery on stage by joining her to perform the track.

The Goodbye Summer video charts the highs and lows of a whirlwind summer romance, following a young couple who fall in love, only for it to be cut short as the season comes to an end.
