Maggie (Kelly McCreary) contended with two dilemmas on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
Firstly she struggled to keep Teddy’s (Kim Raver) pregnancy to herself and channelled her energy into trying to set Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) up with Link (Chris Carmack) to get her away from Owen (Kevin McKidd). Secondly she was left angry when Jackson (Jesse Williams) took a leave of absence without telling her.
Meanwhile Alex (Justin Chambers) came up against resistance from Richard (James Pickens Jr.) on his first day as interim chief. He also made a catalogue of mistakes and fired Dr. Roy (Rushi Kota) after he set a patient on fire in the OR.
Elsewhere Jo (Camilla Luddington) took Bailey (Chandra Wilson) to task for not holding up her end of the fellowship, Richard became obsessed with a patient he incorrectly believed to be a drunk, and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) grew frustrated with her matchmaker patient.
The next episode of the season is Momma Knows Best. Meredith turns heads when she shows up to work ready for a blind date later that day. Alex makes a questionable decision to save a patient. The burden of knowing Teddy’s secret keeps Maggie up at night.
