The Good Doctor returns to UK screens for a second season on Tuesday and it’ll be airing on the newly branded Sky Witness channel.
When we last saw Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) he was assisting Dr. Glassman (Richard Schiff) who revealed he had an inoperable glioma. Shaun refused to accept that Glassman would die and he found a way to do a minimally invasive biopsy to save his life.
Shaun also found himself in trouble after making a serious mistake during surgery. He was distracted thinking about how to help Glassman and made an error clamping his patient’s artery. Admitting his mistake, Shaun came clean to Andrews (Hill Harper) and we were left hanging as to how that meeting went.
The season two premiere is Hello. Shaun’s proposed treatment for a homeless patient puts him and Jared (Chuku Modu) in hot water.
