Thomas Rhett has announced that Sixteen will be the next single from his Platinum album Life Changes.

The single follows the Platinum-certified hits Craving You featuring Maren Morris, Marry Me, Unforgettable and Life Changes.

“When you’re a kid, you can’t wait to grow up and reach that next milestone,” Rhett said. “But as you get older, you look back and think about how much fun you had at 16, 18 or 21. This song is a reminder to live in the moment and just soak up where you’re at in life.”

Rhett is currently in the midst of his Life Changes Tour, which will continue through the autumn in the US before heading over to the UK for a one-off show at London’s Eventim Apollo in November.

Life Changes was released in 2017 and it’s Rhett’s most musically ambitious project to date. It topped the all-genre Billboard 200 chart on its release and picked up a 2018 GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album.

The album has been streamed more than 850 million times and Rhett has now achieved 11 number ones. Life Changes will be released as a Deluxe Edition on 21st September featuring new tracks.
