French singer and actress Charlotte Gainsbourg has revealed details of her upcoming tour this Winter. The tour includes a London date at Camden’s iconic venue, KOKO.

The tour follows the release of the critically acclaimed new album, Rest, which came out at the end of last year. The album was produced by no other than SebastiAn (Frank Ocean, Kavinsky) and mixed by Tom Elmhirst (Adele, Lorde, David Bowie). Rest is Charlotte Gainsbourg’s fourth studio album and her first in almost a decade. Since its release the album has received huge critical acclaim from fans and press alike. The eleven tracks on the album Rest are nothing if not sure-footed, proffering a compelling fusion of gleaming, string-emblazoned modern electro-pop and cinematically textured avant-chanson—their magical music box melodies kissed by bruised, introspective, occasionally disquieting lyrics.

Charlotte Gainsbourg comes for a family of talented musicians and only crafts and puts out albums she is completely comfortable with and the result is always mesmerising. Don’t miss a chance to see her live.

Charlotte Gainsbourg’s KOKO show will be her first London show since her sold-out Village Underground performance, which drew enthusiastic critical praise across the board. Over the summer, Charlotte has also performed at festivals around the world, including Primavera Sound, Field Day, Roskilde, Fyf, Øya and La Route Du Rock.

Tickets for the London show go on sale on Friday 7th September at 10AM. Fore more details check out Charlotte Gainsbourg’s Facebook page.
