Arrow Video FrightFest 2018 interview: Zach Avery teases home invasion movie Hell Is Where the Home Is

Home invasion movies have become a popular staple of the horror genre over the past few years.

At Arrow Video FrightFest 2018 on Sunday Orson Oblowitz premiered his latest film Hell Is Where the Home Is, which puts a slightly different spin on the trope. The film is about four friends who go to a secluded house for a weekend break but find their plans disturbed when a mysterious woman turns up on their doorstep.

After the screening I sat down with lead actor Zach Avery, who plays Joseph in the film, to find out how he got involved with the project, discuss working with Janel Parrish and genre favourite Fairuza Balk, and talk about what he has coming next.
