Glitterbox set for New York

The Ibiza phenomenon comes to NYC in June.

The Glitterbox has set its eyes on New York City and will land on 21st June for its first ever party in the USA at Brooklyn’s infamous, House Of Yes. For this very special occasion, Glitterbox has invited guest headliner will be Tedd Patterson and Sabine Blaizin, homegrown DJs that inspire the kind of dancefloor hedonism that has made Glitterbox Europe’s most talked-about club night. With its extravagant production, flamboyant performers and anything goes attitude, Glitterbox’s 21st century disco will be right at home at House Of Yes.

Previous acts having played the decks for Glitterbox include, Armand Van Helden, Groove Armada, DJ Harvey, Greg Wilson, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Purple Disco Machine, Honey Dijon, Horse Meat Disco, Nightmares On Wax, Derrick Carter, Kenny Dope and many more, and were aided by the stars of the show, the Glitterbox performers, queens and club kids bringing the Glitterbox phenomenon to life.

Glitterbox Recordings has released the hottest new music from the likes of Debbie Jacobs, Folamour, Aeroplane, Dr Packer, Ralphi Rosario, Mousse T. and The Shapeshifters. Not to mention the compilations selected and mixed by Simon Dunmore. Over the course of this summer Glitterbox will be heading to Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bristol, Manchester and Zürich plus many more, while its 18-date residency at Hï Ibiza returns on Friday 1st June. Disco is alive and well people!

Last year’s line-up included sets from David Morales, Todd Terry, Horse Meat Disco, Roger Sanchez, Joey Negro, Basement Jaxx, Melon Bomb, Louie Vega, Aeroplane, Purple Disco Machine, Armand Van Helden, DJ wizard Mo ‘Funk, Detroit veteran Terrence Parker, iconic New York producer Jellybean Benitez, UK house and disco group Crazy P, pioneering British DJ Greg Wilson, and a live PA from American house music singer Crystal Waters.

Glitterbox will take place every Friday from 1st June to 28th September (excluding 3rd August).
