Kevin Davy White leaves The X Factor 2017

The X Factor 2017 continued tonight as the last remaining contestants, Kevin Davy White, Grace Davies and Rak-Su battled it out for the crown. The remaining three contestants were joined by judges and mentors, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell. Tonight’s show included performances of the acts’ favourite songs from the series and some new covers too. Guest performers included Louis Tomlinson and Pretty Much.

Unfortunately it was the end of the road for Kevin, who did not secure enough votes to go through to the final stage of the competition.

Kevin opened up the festivities with a hell of a song, Led Zepplin’s Whole Lotta Love was a perfect match for Kevin, who sounded amazing tonight. His performance was electrifying and only rivalled by his guitar skills.

Kevin’s second song was a complete surprise but it was a good one. The French artist sounded great and looked good on stage. I thought it was a powerful performance and loved it.

What the judges said: Louis said that he had something amazing and that is why he was still in the competition. Sharon added that he belonged on the stage and Simon was praising him for being fearless.

Nicole added that Kevin had a special gift and it was an honour to work with him.

You can relive Kevin Davy White’s performances of Fast Love and Whole Lotta Love on tonight’s live show below:

The past week has seen the finalists get on their Battle Bus and head back to their hometown (with the exception of Kevin who stayed in London) to meet fans, campaign for victory and perform.

The X Factor winner will be revealed tomorrow night when the final reaches its conclusion. The remaining contestants are Rak-Su and Grace Davies.

The X Factor 2017 continues Sunday night on ITV.
